CELEBRATING JOHN SINGER SARGENT

Today is the birthday of John Singer Sargent. I have posted about him before, so I have “Featured” that post below. However, if you have not read the book Strapless by Deborah Davis , be sure to put it on your reading list this year.

I chose this Sargent quote because it is simple and succinct. It addresses exactly how I intend to approach my art no matter what medium I am working in… curious… chronicling. Ironically, it ties into my word for 2019. And, really, wouldn’t it be wonderful to do more chronicling and less judging?

So, happy birthday John Singer Sargent.
