To Our Friends in Las Cruces

I am sure you all have heard the recent news of church bombings in Las Cruces, New Mexico on Sunday. These stories are always so profoundly upsetting and full of questions. I am grateful that no one was injured, but have had our friends on my mind. On my recent visit to Las Cruces, I took a few images of a yucca in bloom. I am sending it back to you as a symbol of strength, beauty, and renewal. I am also sending my thoughts and prayers for safety, resolution, peace, and healing.
