THERE'S AN APP FOR THAT... -TIP TUESDAY
There’s an app for that… there’s also a day for that. Today is National App Day!
I joke a lot about apps and how a lot of folks rely on apps and phones rather than being present in their lives, truly present with the person who is with them, actually seeing what is in front of them, ... I have visions of a modern family vacation at someplace like the Grand Canyon and all the humans have a phone in front of their faces looking at images of the Grand Canyon on their phones rather than taking in the majestic vista right in front of them. Extreme? Maybe. But, like all things in life, I think moderation is the key.
As you can tell, I kind of have a love/hate relationship with apps. There are SO many apps. I have paid for more apps than I care to admit that I really never use. Some apps that are currently useless because they have not been updated, etc. However, the apps I use often and really like… I RALLY like. So, in keeping with the moderation theme, I put together a list of apps I use, and/or apps that have been recommended to me to try. This list includes just a few of the current “winners” that help me feel a little more productive, a little more creative, or just get me focused in the right direction for the day.
