My husband gave me a great gift for my birthday - the Adobe Creative Suite. Yipee!

Now to learn these robust programs with endless options; especially Photoshop. Where does one start? I don't know, but I've been wanting to play with some textures and have been gathering textures to use for MONTHS before I ever got the program with which to even use them. Let me explain. I have known that I want to incorporate textures in my photos. It just seems natural, especially the canvas textures as a nod to my painting background. I'm having so much fun experimenting today. I'm sure I'll regret posting these when I figure out how to REALLY do this properly, but we're all friends here, so here's one of my first attempts. Enjoy this view of a spring tulip - the texture is an added bonus. :-)
