It's Foto Friday and I thought I'd post a photo taken last week. Last Friday, thanks to a heads-up from Stephanie via The Carriage House Facebook page, I learned that there was going to be a Blue Moon - the last Blue Moon until 2015 in fact. I asked Jay to go out and take photos when he came home from work. It was a long, tiring week for him and I know that schlepping around a camera toting wife was not on his list of things to do. But, he's a good sport and went along without even so much as an eye roll. Well, maybe I should say, there was no eye roll in my presence. :-) By the way, his pictures turned out much better than mine too.

I had so much fun and learned a lot. Mostly, I learned that (i) I need to practice moon and night-time photography, AND (ii) I need to find a really good, picturesque place from which to take pictures. Luckily, I have a few years to "practice" until the next Blue Moon.
